WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENT
Congratulations! So you have decided to get married and you want to find the right marriage celebrant?
My promise as your celebrant is to uphold a high standard of excellence in providing you, as a couple my professional services and to turn your wedding dreams into reality.
LOVE is LOVE, no matter who you are, I would feel so honoured to be part of your special day.
Allow me to make your wedding ceremony anything you want it to be, from light, modern or traditional, and anything in between.
The past 16 years I have performed weddings not only on the Sunshine Coast, but as far as Darwin, Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Most of my weddings have been booked on recommendations. My fees start from $450. I’m also a member of the ACQ Alliance of Celebrants Queensland Inc.
Whether you decided to have your ceremony on a beach, by a river, in your own home, based on your ideas and wishes, I create a sincere and meaningful ceremony reflecting your thoughts and beliefs, sharing your love story, and capturing the essence of your relationship.
I attend to all the legal documentation and ensure that all requirements are professionally met.
Once this has been completed, my advice to you is to relax and enjoy every minute of your wonderful day.
AS YOUR MARRIAGE CELEBRANT I OFFER:
- A relaxed planning interview
I would then discuss the structure of your ceremony and how you would like it to flow.
- A personal and unique ceremony
reflecting your feelings, beliefs and personalities
- A high quality PA sound system
ensuring that all of your guests can enjoy the ceremony. PA system plays your preferred music throughout your ceremony.
- Signing table and 2 white chairs
- 4 Balinese white beach flags. (Beach ceremonies)
- Unlimited communication
regarding your ceremony via phone or email
- Information on and access to many resources for vows and readings
(You may wish to have your family or a special friend participate in your ceremony by reciting a reading or a poem. We can discuss many ideas to incorporate simple rituals such as sand pouring or other fun into your ceremony.)
- A presentation copy of your ceremony
as a keepsake
- I only accept one booking per day
so all my attention is focused on your wedding
- A rehearsal is included (and recommended)
to ensure your special day runs smoothly.
Please don’t hesitate to email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (0401 818 388) me to confirm my availability and to arrange an obligational free meeting at my home at Alexandra Headland. (Sunshine Coast)
RENEWAL OF VOWS
Choosing to renew your vows in a public ceremony is a measure of your ongoing love and commitment to each other. It gives you the opportunity to tell your partner that come what may, you would still choose them over all others, to spend your life with. The ceremony is arranged the same way as a wedding ceremony, except that it should express the uniqueness of your lives together, you’re true feelings for each other and your views on your married lives.
Your children, your family and your friends who have witnessed your love and friendship through the years normally participate in the ceremony via readings of poems and stories, or just in sharing memories of you as a couple. You may also have a renewal of vows ceremony if you were previously married overseas or away from your family and friends.
Your ceremony is to publicly express and celebrate your commitment and your desire to share your lives with each other.
I personally design these ceremonies with you to create a unique, sensitive and special testament to reflect your individual requirements and beliefs.
There are many beautiful places to hold your ceremony, from long white sandy beaches to beautiful mountain tops and glorious gardens.
It would be my pleasure and my privilege to have the opportunity to be a part of your ceremony as you state your vows to each other in the presence of your family and friends.
A naming ceremony is offered as an alternative to the traditional Baptism or Christening.
A naming ceremony is a very popular and beautiful way in which a child can be welcomed into your community of family and friends. A name giving ceremony celebrates the birth of a baby or welcomes adopted or step children. In this ceremony, parents can publicly share their hopes and dreams for their child. Often this ceremony involves special people in the child’s family such as grandparents and siblings who take part in the ceremony by reading poems and affirmations. You may choose to have your name giving ceremony at any time, and the ceremony itself can be as short or as lengthy as you desire. I have lots of poems and readings for you to choose from to express the love you feel for your special child, or you may like to write something yourself. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to create a ceremony that is memorable for everyone to share and enjoy. Your baby/Child will be presented with a ‘Naming Certificate’.
PET FUNERAL / MEMORIAL
All too often, we forget what a pet means to some people.
Not always just an animal that lives with them, but in some instances a pet is the very essence of their life. When a devoted pet passes away, many find themselves with a huge void in their lives. It is becoming increasingly popular for pets to be cremated, with their owners scattering their ashes at their place of choice. A simple ceremony often provides closure, giving the person the ability to move forward.
